The client helps more than 8 million people on behalf of insurers, intermediaries, banks, leasing companies and home-help agencies. Client wanted an open and scalable platform that supported their current content management requirements as well as the flexibility to add new features or modules in the future at lower cost. The Client website was migrated to Alfresco for its significantly lower costs due to open source development and licensing model. Alfresco also allowed the client to easily modify rules, business processes, and workflows. Email Message Archiving The Client was into insuring lives of people who depended on them. They used Kana response as a low cost – high quality email solution that automated the process of capturing, documenting, interpreting, routing and prescribing answers; KANA Response streamlined high volume email and Web form management. The Client needed the KANA database to store all incoming emails and response transaction records. They also wanted the flexibility of selecting the messages to be archived. Using Java, Rishabh provided them the solution of rebuilding indexes, recalculating statistics and archiving. The data could be achieved either in a database or a file (.eml file).
