Microsoft’s Latest Dynamics Suite Goes Live on Azure
Microsoft has released the new iteration of its Dynamic AX enterprise resource planning software which is designed to make the migration path to the cloud easier for businesses and developers.
The update is now available and can be accessed on any device from anywhere. The enterprise-class software possesses features such as:
- Connection with Microsoft’s cloud-based services like Power BI, Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online
- Task Guides that provide step-by-step instructions to do anything inside Dynamics AX
- A browser-based portal with updated interface that is touch-enabled for PCs, tablets and mobile devices
- Lifecycle Services for companies to directly test changes within the Dynamics instance
Microsoft will release the on-premise version of this suite after releasing Azure Stack.

Google Launches Preview of Android N Beta Program
Google announced the early preview of Android N following the launch of Android Beta Program for developers to try new features that include multi-window support and direct reply and bundled notifications, improved Java 8 language support and more. The developers will straight-away receive over-the-air updates on their Nexus devices.
The Android N preview (download available at developer.android.com/preview) consists of an updated SDK with system images to test on official Android Emulator and on other Nexus devices such as Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Pixel C and Nexus Player.
Google says it will open up the beta for consumers once the Android N product is finalized. More information will be available at the I/O developer conference which is scheduled early this year from May 18 to May 20.
Ionide Is a New Atom-Based Development Tool For F# Developers
Ionide is a development tool packaged as an Atom Editor which enables F# developers to write code with Microsoft designed F# functional language. It integrates with the Forge command-line tool, links deeply with Fslab libraries for data science and several other projects developed by F# community which offers various advanced features.
Written in F# language, Ionide includes features such as syntax highlighting, autocompletion, error highlighting, tooltips and integrates with F# Interactive that provide a REPL environment.
It can be installed on OS X, Windows and Linux using the Atom package installer. Ionide is available on Github.
