Microsoft’s New Dynamics 365 Consolidates ERP & CRM On Cloud
Microsoft will roll out its new offering called Dynamics 365 that is available to be due in this fall. Dynamics 365 combines its current CRM cloud services and ERP to offer as a single bundle and includes purpose-built applications for specific business functions.
It features applications for functions such as sales, operations, financials, field service, project service automation, marketing, and customer service. The apps can be deployed independently enabling users to purchase only what they require.
Further, the Power BI and Cortana Intelligence tools can natively be embedded for predictive capabilities. Dynamics 365 will also come integrated with Office 365.

Mirantis Openstack 9.0 Simplifies Post-Deployment Support & Private Cloud Operations
Mirantis, a pure play open-source company, announced the release of Mirantis OpenStack 9.0. It is based on OpenStack Mitaka and is said to make operating a private cloud easier. The release includes a new set of features that will ease the lifecycle management of OpenStack.
“The improvements in Mirantis OpenStack 9.0 are based on real-world production deployments of Mirantis OpenStack, including our collaborations with AT&T and Volkswagen,” said Boris Renski, Co-founder and CMO of Mirantis. “The improvements we made — largely in the area of post-deployment operations — integrate Mirantis’ services expertise into the software so that we can deliver better business outcomes. Mirantis OpenStack 9.0 will be a valuable asset to Mirantis as we help customers build and operate private clouds.”
Mirantis OpenStack 9.0 will also support a variety of NFV (network function virtualization) infrastructure acceleration features like huge pages, NUMA/CPU pinning, SR-IOV, and a technical preview of DPDK.
