Gartner shares Insight – Cloud is still not on CIOs list of top consideration
Gartner recently conducted a 2015 CIO Survey for understanding the top four major technologies impacting the industry. The 2015 survey polled more than 2,800 CIOs which accounted for $397 billion of IT spend. The survey shared that 9% of users today don’t even consider cloud computing for SaaS based projects, but the number increases to 15% for IaaS projects. “For most CIOs, public cloud is an option for projects, but only a first consideration for a small minority,” said Dave Russell, vice president and distinguished analyst at Gartner.
