IBM Launches Cloud-Based Big Data Service
IBM has launched a new big data service for the cloud called IBM Navigator on Cloud. This service will allow business content to be more usable across the enterprise. This service is mainly aimed at helping companies in utilizing the large quantities (about 2.5 billion gigabytes) of unstructured data that is generated on a daily basis.

With IBM’s Cloud-Based Big Data Service, knowledge workers will be able to collaborate by synchronizing content and making it available from any browser, desktop or mobile device, more effectively. The service, Navigator on Cloud is available in the IBM Cloud Marketplace and has been built on the company’s SoftLayer cloud platform. The service also offers Enterprise Content Management capabilities to users who are generally familiar with content management tools.
Applause and IBM Partner to Bring App Quality to Enterprise
Applause, the app quality company, has announced a strategic partnership with IBM with an aim to develop collaborative application quality and performance tools for enterprises. This was a result of the two firms being on the same page about achieving application quality, dependability, and performance, especially when it comes to larger companies.
